LEGAL / TERMS
Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to and use of the getMetrics website, control plane, APIs, and connector destinations.
Effective July 23, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, joining an organization, connecting a third-party platform, or otherwise using getMetrics, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use getMetrics for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
2. The service
getMetrics is a control plane and live-query connector platform that helps authorized users request data from supported advertising, analytics, and social platforms and deliver normalized results to destinations such as Data Studio and Google Sheets.
The service depends on third-party APIs and may use short-lived caching, request deduplication, rate-limit controls, and provider-specific query rules. A connector configuration is not a guarantee that every field, date range, account, or result will remain available.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement. You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our breach of these terms.
4. Organizations, roles, and invitations
Organization Owners and authorized Administrators control membership, roles, connected resources, and other organization settings. Your access may change when an authorized organization member updates your role or removes you. You are responsible for inviting only appropriate users and maintaining accurate permissions.
If you join an organization, information and configurations you add to that organization may be visible to or controlled by other authorized organization members.
5. Third-party platforms and authorization
You may connect only accounts and resources that you are authorized to access. By connecting a platform, you instruct getMetrics to use the permissions and credentials granted by that platform to discover resources, perform requested queries, and provide results to authorized destinations.
You must comply with the applicable platform terms, developer policies, data-use restrictions, and laws. Third-party platforms may change or discontinue APIs, fields, permissions, quotas, or access at any time. getMetrics does not control those services and is not responsible for their independent acts or omissions.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Access data, accounts, or organizations without authorization.
- Share credentials, authentication links, or connector access with unauthorized persons.
- Circumvent plan limits, rate limits, cooldowns, access controls, or security protections.
- Create repeated trials or organizations to avoid subscription or usage limits.
- Use the service to violate law, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, or platform policies.
- Probe, scan, disrupt, reverse engineer, or introduce malicious code into the service.
- Resell or commercially exploit the service except under a written agreement permitting it.
7. Data and instructions
You retain your rights in data and configurations submitted to or accessed through the service. You grant getMetrics a limited right to process that data only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service, comply with law, and follow your authorized instructions.
You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and permissions associated with your data, queries, and destinations. You must not instruct getMetrics to process data you have no right to use.
8. Plans, limits, and payment
Features, selected-account limits, historical ranges, query volume, row limits, cache behavior, and refresh cooldowns may vary by plan. You agree not to evade those limits. We may reject, delay, or throttle requests to protect the service or comply with provider restrictions.
If you purchase a paid plan, the price, billing period, taxes, renewal terms, and cancellation options presented at purchase form part of these terms. Except where law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to operate a reliable service, but availability and result freshness may be affected by maintenance, network conditions, provider outages, API changes, authorization expiry, quotas, and events outside our control. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features and will provide notice when reasonably practicable.
10. Intellectual property and feedback
getMetrics and its software, branding, documentation, and service design are owned by us or our licensors. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service during your authorized subscription or access period.
If you provide suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or payment, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.
11. Confidentiality and security
Each party will use reasonable care to protect non-public information received from the other and will use it only for the purposes of the service, except when disclosure is authorized or legally required. You remain responsible for configuring organization roles and destinations appropriately.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and disconnect platforms at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address non-payment, material breach, unlawful use, security risk, provider requirements, or harm to the service or others. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
13. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Provider data may be estimated, delayed, sampled, incomplete, or changed after retrieval. You are responsible for reviewing results before relying on them for financial, legal, or business decisions.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. Our aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to getMetrics for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
15. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify getMetrics against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the service, your data, your connected-platform permissions, or your material breach of these terms.
16. Governing terms
These terms are governed by the laws applicable where the service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless mandatory consumer or local law requires otherwise. Before beginning formal proceedings, the parties will try in good faith to resolve a dispute through written notice.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of the service.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service or law changes. We will post the revised terms, update the effective date, and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after the revised terms take effect means you accept them.
